Americans often visit Transnistria
A representative American delegation arrived today in the capital of the PMR, Tiraspol. It includes US Ambassador to Moldova Derek Hogan, Deputy Administrator of the US Agency for International Development for Europe and Eurasia Brock Bierman and their colleagues.
This was reported by the official website of the President of Transnistria, the correspondent reports "PolitNavigator".
The guests inquired about the opinion of the head of Pridnestrovie on the prospects for further economic cooperation. President Vadim Krasnoselsky believes that this is possible in the agricultural sector. He also said that Pridnestrovie will not refuse American assistance in the construction of a new tuberculosis dispensary building on the territory of the correctional institution and the creation of infrastructure for the disabled.
“Representatives of the American delegation noted that each of the identified areas deserves attention. The meeting participants discussed specific proposals, exchanged views on various projects, outlined ways for further interaction, agreeing to maintain working contacts,” the statement says.
Let us note that this is the second visit of the American ambassador to Tiraspol in less than a month. On June 24, Derek Hogan already discussed with Krasnoselsky the state of the negotiation process on the Transnistrian settlement.
