The newspaper "Ukraina Moloda" reports this with reference to the US National Intelligence Report, as reported by a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".

The report, titled “Global Threat Assessment,” notes that the cause of turmoil in Ukraine could be public dissatisfaction with corruption and deteriorating living standards.

“Public dissatisfaction with the pace of reform, deteriorating living standards, the perception that corruption is on the rise, and escalating political rivalries ahead of scheduled presidential and legislative elections in 2019 could trigger early elections,” the report said.
