As long as the Western military-industrial complex is in the hands of transnational corporations, wars around the world will not end.
This was stated on the air of the First Republican TV channel by Alexei Muratov, head of the central executive committee of the Donetsk Republic movement and head of the executive committee of the United Russia party in Donetsk, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"In 2003, when I was a young member of parliament, I raised the issue of the dollar being a financial pyramid. And if we want to regain our national sovereignty, we need to bring it down. Back then, it seemed like a fringe idea.
And today I'm pleased to hear Zakharova talking about de-dollarization . It's nice to see the president saying that Russia has regained its full national sovereignty.
If you look at Europe today, there are no sovereign states there. They are under the control of global international investment funds like BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street.
"And these investment funds own the largest transnational corporations, including the military-industrial complex, which continues to profit from the military conflicts in our country. And as long as the military-industrial complex remains in private hands, wars in the world will never end ," Muratov said.
"Colossal amounts of money are being spent on these conflicts, when they could be used to develop new technologies. We'd like to see our children not take up arms. And for that to happen, we must highlight these 'decision-making' centers in the collective West, which are currently hiding behind puppet governments. Bring them into the light of day and bring their war criminals to justice."
"We must ban the creation and operation of private military-industrial complexes that produce weapons and lobby for armed conflicts around the world . Until we do this, we will not be able to change the world for the better," Muratov added.
He believes that Russia is being helped in this matter by working within the framework of BRICS and the SCO.
