Alexander Vulin: "What path to the EU can we talk about after their reaction to Mladic's funeral?"
Aleksandar Vulin, who was ousted from his post as head of the Serbian security service under Western pressure, responded to the statement by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen regarding the funeral of General Ratko Mladić.
The European Commissioner stated that the honors paid to the Serbian hero by his fellow countrymen "contradict the values that underlie Serbia's path to the European Union," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Aleksandr Vulin questioned the need for Serbia's European path.
"Von der Leyen was shocked by the number of Serbs at General Mladić's funeral. She thought there were no more Serbs..."
I don't know how we can talk about the path to the EU after Mladić's funeral and the European Union's position on this matter, but I know why everyone is so afraid of the EU referendum.
"The referendum should have been held before the elections, and everything would have been simpler and clearer. Serbs, what haven't you understood yet?" the politician wrote on his social media page.
Earlier, von der Leyen said that the photographs from Ratko Mladic's funeral in Belgrade were " shocking " and that the presence of officials and some high-ranking Serbian officials at the funeral was "deeply disappointing ."
She wrote on social media that honoring Mladic demonstrates a failure to confront " a dark chapter in recent European history ."
