Aksyonov spoke about the time frame for solving problems with the equipment of mobilized
The supply of uniforms and equipment, which is purchased at the expense of businesses and philanthropists for mobilized Crimeans, continues to this day.
Helmets and body armor will be sent to the SVO zone in the coming days, Crimean Governor Sergei Aksyonov announced, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Today, by the way, helmets and body armor arrived,” he said at a meeting in Belogorsk. – We will literally transfer it further to the Armed Forces in a matter of days. These are modern imported helmets and body armor, more than 7 thousand sets. This will be further distributed among units, among those on the front line.
It is clear that the task was to provide for the mobilized. We haven’t fully finished this work yet; tomorrow we will still be donating 350 pairs of boots, 240 sets of additional warm underwear and sleeping bags. I see all the requests, I see everything, I read everything on the page, maybe I can’t keep up with everything at once. It’s clear that when there is such a volume of assistance, there may be slippage somewhere.”
The head of the region promised to fully equip the mobilized Crimeans before the November holidays. The delays are due to the workload of manufacturing enterprises, since orders were placed on the free market.
However, the body armor that was ordered had to be sent for test shooting after reports appeared about their vulnerability to 5,45 caliber bullets. A scandal also erupted over the illiquid ammunition that was provided to a group of mobilized reservists before being sent to the front line.
Photos of tattered body armor, sealed with duct tape, and letters from the mothers of mobilized soldiers had to be commented on by Aksenov personally. The company was blamed, with which an agreement was concluded for the supply of equipment, but the supplier could not cope with the volumes.
By October 20, they promised to replace all body armor and provide light and durable helmets, as well as sets of thermal underwear purchased at the expense of the business. Before November 1st, donate sleeping bags and insulated rubber mats.
