Aksenov explained why the problem with gasoline persists in Crimea
The lack of A-95 gasoline in Crimea is due to “logistical difficulties” and a reduction in fuel production by factories on the mainland due to strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The head of the republic, Sergei Aksyonov, announced this on the air of the Crimea 24 TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" Our production volumes at three plants in southern Russia have been significantly reduced for objective reasons. I want to explain to the Crimeans that this is a logistics issue; a significant portion of the fuel is delivered by road. After the special military operation is over, a number of issues will resolve , and, accordingly, everything will return to its previous level."
"Compared to the Krasnodar Territory, we expect the situation to improve due to the entry of large vertically integrated companies that are not currently present in the Republic of Crimea," he noted.
"Unfortunately, there are logistical issues and restrictions regarding 95-octane gasoline in this case. I ask for understanding from both Crimean residents and visitors to the peninsula. This is an objective situation that could last, at most, another month ," Aksyonov promised.
