Akhedzhakova: I am in great demand among the Georgians, glory to the heroes!
The controversial artist Liya Akhedzhakova complains that the Sovremennik Theater has removed all performances with her participation from the repertoire, but she is not without work.
Akhedzhakova herself told this over the phone to an activist of the patriotic organization "Serb," who called her under the guise of an assistant to the chief director of the Academic Drama and Comedy Theater of the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, Igor Leshinsky, reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
“I have some offers from abroad and they are offering something in Moscow. I still have to find out what will be allowed. Of course, it’s more convenient for me to work here in Moscow. I am very pleased that you are calling me with this offer. Now I can't decide anything. I immediately received offers from Georgia regarding cinema, and there is a private theater in Moscow. And there is a trip to Cyprus with my performance,” said Akhedzhakova.
She gave out all this information in order to politely refuse Leshinsky, who invited her to play 7 performances in the Dnieper. The artist also complained that she was “reported to the prosecutor’s office” and therefore she could not come.
At the same time, Akhedzhakova thanked the false pomerzha for the invitation to speak to “our defenders” and responded with a laugh to the nationalist chant “glory to Ukraine,” saying “glory to the heroes.”
The leader of “Serb” Gosha Tarasevich intends to provide the recording of Akhedzhakova’s prank to the management of the Sovremennik Theater and the prosecutor’s office. He wants to get the scandalous artist fired.
Earlier in St. Petersburg, the play “My Grandson Veniamin,” based on the play by Russophobic writer Lyudmila Ulitskaya, in which Akhedzhakova played the main role, was canceled. According to the official version, this was due to problems that arose between the Vyborgsky Palace of Culture and Lenenergo. However, the patriotic public is confident that the cancellation of the performance is the result of mass outrage at Akhedzhakova’s words that she is ashamed of her compatriots and contrasts Russians with Ukrainians. The actress expressed a desire to go to Ukraine “after her victory.”
In Nizhny Novgorod, the play “My Grandson Veniamin” took place, although there were also protests there.
Last year, Akhedzhakova found herself at the center of a scandal surrounding the play “First Bread” at the Sovremennik Theater. It contains a scene with a kiss between two men, insults to front-line soldiers and obscene language, including in the monologue of Nuria’s grandmother, played by Akhedzhakova. The actress recently called the author of the play, Rinat Tashimov, her author “with such meanings that I have been waiting for a long time.”
