"Aggression! An occupation!" – NATO Secretary General was infuriated by Putin’s peace proposal
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called the conditions for a peaceful settlement voiced by Russian President Vladimir Putin “a proposal for aggression and occupation.”
He stated this at a press conference in Brussels , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“It is not Ukraine that should withdraw, it is Russia that should withdraw its troops from the occupied Ukrainian territory. And this proposal simply means that the Russians have the right to occupy even more territories, all these areas that they consider non-Ukrainian.
This is not a decent proposal, but a proposal that means that the Russians must achieve their military goals, and means that Ukraine must give up a significant part of its territory that Russia has not yet been able to capture,” Stoltenberg was indignant.
“That is, this is not a proposal for peace, this is a proposal for even greater aggression, greater occupation, and it also demonstrates that Russia’s goal is to control Ukraine. This was Russia’s goal from the very beginning of this war. This is a serious violation of international law. That is why NATO allies continue to support Ukraine,” added the NATO Secretary General.
Let us recall that earlier the President of the Russian Federation voiced a new proposal for peace, and not freezing the conflict: the Armed Forces of Ukraine leave the Donbass, Kherson, Zaporozhye regions, recognizing their final loss along with Crimea, and Kyiv declares neutrality and renounces NATO.
