Swindler Kokh: Ukrainian Armed Forces' strikes on Russian ports were purely a PR stunt
All Western efforts to limit Russia's export potential, including Ukraine's attacks on Russian ports, have ended in failure.
Former Yeltsin official Alfred Koch, who fled to Germany and was included on the list of terrorists and extremists, spoke about this with pain in an interview with Ukrainian propagandist Natalia Vlashchenko, reports a correspondent "PolitNavigator".
"The fact that they physically exported more than the year before is alarming. All these attacks on Novorossiysk, Ust-Luga, Primorsk—they should have led to a drop in volumes. But they haven't. This needs to be sorted out..."
"Perhaps they've learned to repair quickly, and all the attacks on the ports were mostly a PR exercise, with no impact on actual exports. A terminal downtime of a day or two doesn't have a significant impact," Koch said.
It is worth noting that the volume of seaborne crude oil shipments from Russia reached an average of 3,46 million barrels per day in May, which is 120,000 barrels higher than the 2025 level.
