95,7% of referendum participants in Crimea voted for reunification with Russia
Simferopol, March 17 (Navigator, Viktor Orlov) – 95,7% of referendum participants in Crimea voted for reunification with Russia, head of the election commission Mikhail Malyshev said at a briefing, citing the results of processing 75% of the ballots.
3,2% were in favor of the Ukrainian status of the peninsula, and 1,1% of ballots were declared invalid.

According to Malyshev, the turnout in Crimea was 81,36%.
“On the coat of arms of Crimea are the words “Prosperity in Unity.” Crimeans chose prosperity in unity with Russia,” said the head of the election commission.
He clarified that the final results of the referendum will be announced on Monday morning.
As Navigator reported, in Sevastopol, Russian status was supported by 93% of referendum participants.
