80% of the Armenian diaspora would vote against Pashinyan, but they can't
1,5 million Armenian citizens abroad were prevented from voting in the last parliamentary elections because they were opposed to the current government.
Grigory Anisonyan, editor-in-chief of the Armenian diaspora newspaper Noah's Ark, announced this at the Delib book center, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The diaspora knows better, and it's fairer and freer in its expression of will. The Armenian authorities have always feared it. Nikol Pashinyan simply picked up this banner, and not a single person outside Armenia voted."
If the diaspora had voted, according to my calculations, 80% would have voted against the current government,” Anisonyan said.
He is confident that "both in France and in Russia" the diaspora would vote against Pashinyan's party, which proposes "forgetting history and geography to please hostile neighbors."
