2018 will be the year of regional separatism in Ukraine
A police state budget with exorbitant utility tariff increases and the impoverishment of the Ukrainian people will lead to the emergence of regional separatism in Ukraine. Ukrainian political scientist Andrei Yermolayev stated this on the NewsOne television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to him, having become disillusioned with state power, the population of Ukraine will focus more on life within their region and local elites.
“It is impossible to live with the prices for housing and communal services, with the incomes with which people will enter the 18th year. And the chances of changing the country without elections turn into yet another threat of upheavals and revolutions. What could it be? People will focus on life in their region, on local leaders. This is the same risk of local separatism that we have talked about so much. So, this attitude towards the budget and economic policy gives rise to new separatism,” Ermolaev said.
