On Khreshchatyk in Kyiv, police found a grenade with a fuse on a young man.

The official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reports this.
Explosive technicians and an investigative team arrived at the scene of the incident, to which access was restricted.
“At about 11:30, while on duty to ensure law and order, the police, while checking, found a grenade with a fuse in the young man’s pocket. The dangerous object was immediately covered with a box, and the area around was fenced off until the inspection was completed,” the report says.
“It has been previously established that law enforcement officers noticed a suspicious young man. During a superficial inspection, he tried to escape, but he was detained and an RGD-5 grenade with a fuse was found in his pocket. It turned out that the dangerous object was carried by a local resident, born in 1998,” the department added.
Now explosives experts and the investigative team of the territorial police department are working on the site.
