Instead, Tyagnibok announced that “the government is bursting at the seams” and called on all opposition supporters to come to the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday - it will be “an extremely important hour and an extremely important time.”
“Tuesday from 8 am we form columns and go to the parliament. We must put pressure on this parliament so that legality and justice prevail,” Tyagnibok said.
Yatsenyuk explained that at the Rada meeting the opposition will try to push through the issue of returning the 2004 Constitution, which limits the power of the president.
“No secret negotiations in the speaker’s office. We take it into the hall and vote: who is for Ukraine, who is against,” said the head of Batkivshchyna.
Vitaliy Klitschko did not speak at the rally in Kyiv today - he went to an opposition rally in Dnepropetrovsk.
“I wonder how many more of these meaningless, fruitless evenings will be needed before these clowns are finally dragged off the stage and simply punched in their faces?” – commented on the outcome of today’s rally on the Maidan, social activist Alexander Danilyuk from the “Common Cause” organization, which advocates a scenario of putting pressure on the authorities by seizing administrative buildings.
